What to send us for a Subaru Estratto
Your location pin, with building name and parking level if it is in a basement
The model year of your Estratto and the engine if you know it
A photo of the label on the battery now in the car
What happens when you try to start: clicking, nothing at all, or a slow crank
What to know about Subaru batteries
Boxer layout, easy battery access
The flat boxer engine sits low, which leaves the battery in open view at the front corner of the engine bay. Access is straightforward, so most Subaru replacements are quick once the correct case and terminal layout are confirmed.
Auto Start-Stop batteries
Subarus with Auto Start-Stop are built with a stop-start grade battery, typically the Q-85 size in a D23L case. A plain 55D23L has the same footprint but does not tolerate repeated restarts. We fit the same grade the car came with.
How we replace a Estratto battery
You know the battery, the arrival estimate and what is included before a technician leaves for your car.

We confirm before dispatch
You hear which battery fits, whether registration is part of the job and the estimated arrival time.
Tested at the car
The technician checks the battery and the charging system and tells you what the readings mean.
Started or replaced
A jump start if that is enough. If not, the new battery goes in, the old one leaves with us and you pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.
Subaru Estratto battery questions
Which battery does a Subaru Estratto take?
A Subaru Estratto typically takes a maintenance-free flooded battery, in the range 80D26 – 105D31 (70–90 Ah). The Estratto takes a sealed maintenance-free battery. In Gulf heat the things that matter are the correct case size, enough capacity for the AC and accessories, and a recent manufacture date.
Can you replace a Estratto battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the Estratto need battery registration?
No. The Estratto does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a Estratto battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Does my Subaru Forester need an EFB battery?
If it has Auto Start-Stop, yes. Foresters from the 2019 generation onward generally have the system and are built with a stop-start grade battery. Earlier models without it use a conventional 55D23L. Look for an Auto Start-Stop off control in the car, or send us the year.
