Audi battery replacement in Dubai, 24/7

Audi owners in Dubai call us when the car cranks slowly, shows a low battery warning or will not wake up at all. A technician comes to the car 24/7, tests the battery and charging system, then jump-starts it or fits a replacement. Audi's energy management tracks the battery by code, so the new one is adapted to the car after fitting.

Audi battery sizes by model

Typical Gulf-spec fitment for the Audi models we see most. Engine and model year can change it, so we match the label on your current battery before dispatch.

ModelBattery typeTypical sizeNote

A5AGMDIN 80 AGM (H7, 80 Ah)—
A6AGMDIN 95 AGM (H8, 95 Ah)Four-cylinder cars may carry 80 Ah (H7), while V8 and diesel versions can go up to 105 Ah (H9).
A7AGMDIN 95 AGM (H8, 95 Ah)—
Q3AGMDIN 70 AGM (H6, 70 Ah)—
Q5AGMDIN 80 AGM (H7, 80 Ah)V6 and SQ5 models often take DIN 95 AGM (H8).
Q7AGMDIN 95 AGM (H8, 95 Ah)Some V8 and diesel versions use DIN 105 AGM (H9). The battery is under the front seat on this model.

Battery registration on Audi

  • After fitting, the battery is adapted with a diagnostic tool by entering its BEM code. Aftermarket batteries without a code are adapted with substitute values for capacity, type and serial. We confirm before dispatch whether this registration is included.

Audi in the UAE: what wears the battery

Audi saloons and Q-series SUVs in the UAE mix short, air-conditioned city trips with long motorway runs to Abu Dhabi. Short trips never fully recharge an AGM battery, and the energy manager starts shedding comfort features to protect starting power. A boot-mounted battery runs cooler than one under the bonnet, yet Gulf heat still shortens its life.

Audi sells the Q8 e-tron, Q4 e-tron and e-tron GT in the UAE alongside plug-in hybrids. Each has a conventional 12V battery that boots the electronics before the high-voltage pack connects. A flat 12V battery leaves an electric Audi unable to switch on.

Jump start, test or replace your Audi

A car that will not start does not always need a new battery. The technician tests first, then does the smallest job that gets you moving.

Battery replacement

When it fits: The battery fails the test, will not hold charge, or is swollen or leaking.

  • New battery matched to your car, delivered and fitted where you are parked
  • Charging system checked once the engine is running
  • Old battery taken away for recycling, warranty up to 24 months
How it works

Car Battery Jump Start

When it fits: Lights were left on or the car sat for days, and the battery is otherwise healthy.

  • A technician sent to your location in Dubai at any hour, with the arrival estimate confirmed before dispatch
  • A professional booster with surge protection instead of cables run from another car
  • Connection at the points your car maker specifies, including dedicated jump posts under the bonnet
How it works

Car Battery Testing

When it fits: Slow cranking, a warning light, or a battery that keeps going flat.

  • Resting voltage reading: about 12.6 to 12.8 V is healthy, and below 12.4 V the battery needs a recharge
  • Conductance or load test: the battery should hold 9.6 V or more under load
  • Charging voltage with the engine running, normally about 13.8 to 14.4 V

What is different about Audi batteries

  • Boot, bonnet or under seat

The A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 and Q5 carry the battery under the boot floor. The A3 and Q3 have it under the bonnet. On the Q7 it sits beneath the driver's seat. Which of the three applies decides the tools and the time the job needs.

  • Battery data module and BEM

A sensor on the negative terminal reports charge, temperature and ageing to the battery energy management (BEM). Each original battery carries a BEM code with its part number, maker and serial. The car stores that code and charges the battery accordingly.

  • Energy management cuts features first

When charge runs low an Audi switches off consumers in stages: start-stop, then seat heating, then the MMI with the ignition off. A low battery charge message appears in the instrument cluster. These are protective steps, and they usually show up before the car fails to start.

  • 48V mild hybrid on larger models

Recent A6, A7, A8, Q7 and Q8 models pair a 48V lithium battery with a belt-driven starter-generator. The 12V AGM battery remains and runs the usual electronics. We service the 12V battery, and the 48V system needs workshop diagnostics.

Audi battery questions

All questions and answers
What is a BEM code and does my Audi need one?

It is the code printed on an original Audi battery that the car's energy management reads during adaptation. Cars with a battery sensor on the negative terminal need the new battery adapted. If the replacement has no BEM code, the technician enters its capacity, type and a substitute serial instead.

Why is my Audi battery in the boot?

Audi placed it there on longitudinal-engine models such as the A4, A6 and Q5 to balance weight and keep it clear of engine heat. Access is under the boot floor, in or beside the spare wheel well. Empty the boot before the technician arrives and the swap goes quicker.

Can you replace an Audi Q7 battery at my home?

Yes. The Q7 battery is under the driver's seat, so the seat is moved and the floor cover lifted to reach it. It takes longer than a bonnet-mounted battery but needs no lift. We bring the AGM size your engine needs and take the old battery away for recycling.

Does a start-stop Audi need AGM or EFB?

Most start-stop Audis left the factory with AGM, and those must get AGM again. Some smaller-engined A1 and A3 models were built with EFB. The label on the old battery settles it. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we match type and capacity before the technician leaves.
