Nissan battery replacement in Dubai, 24/7

Nissan battery replacement in Dubai is a call or a WhatsApp message away, day or night. We drive to the car, test the battery, jump-start it if it is only discharged, and fit a new one on site if it has failed. Sizes run from the NS40 in a Sunny to the large case in a Patrol V8, so we ask for model and year first.

Nissan battery sizes by model

Typical Gulf-spec fitment for the Nissan models we see most. Engine and model year can change it, so we match the label on your current battery before dispatch.

ModelBattery typeTypical sizeNote
PatrolMaintenance-free80D26L (70 Ah)The 5.6 V8 is often fitted with the longer 95D31L. Case length and terminal side are confirmed by model year before dispatch.

AltimaMaintenance-free55D23L (60 Ah)The newest generation can take a different case, so tell us the year.

Nissan in the UAE: what wears the battery

The Patrol is the family and desert car of the UAE, and it spends long hours idling with the AC on, which charges the battery poorly. Sunny, Altima and Kicks models fill rental and company fleets and cover many short hops. Both patterns leave the battery partly charged in high heat, and that ends it early.

Nissan e-POWER models and the electric Leaf carry a 12V battery beside the high-voltage pack. It runs the locks, screens and control units and switches the main pack on. When it is flat the car stays dead until the 12V is jumped or replaced.

What is different about Nissan batteries

  • Variable charging on newer Nissans

Many recent Nissans have a current sensor on the negative battery cable and vary the alternator output to save fuel. A reading near 13 V at idle can be normal. We test charging under load before blaming the alternator, and the sensor must be reconnected properly after a battery change.

  • Patrol electrical load

A Patrol runs front and rear AC, a console cool box on higher trims, powered seats and often added lights or a compressor. A battery that is one size too small will start the car but fade quickly. We match capacity to the trim and the accessories fitted.

  • Small cases on Sunny and Micra

Sunny, Micra and similar small Nissans use compact NS40-class batteries of roughly 35 Ah. There is little reserve, so a door left ajar or parking lights left on overnight can flatten one. A jump start usually recovers it if the battery is still healthy.

Jump start, test or replace your Nissan

A car that will not start does not always need a new battery. The technician tests first, then does the smallest job that gets you moving.

Battery replacement

When it fits: The battery fails the test, will not hold charge, or is swollen or leaking.

  • New battery matched to your car, delivered and fitted where you are parked
  • Charging system checked once the engine is running
  • Old battery taken away for recycling, warranty up to 24 months
How it works

Car Battery Jump Start

When it fits: Lights were left on or the car sat for days, and the battery is otherwise healthy.

  • A technician sent to your location in Dubai at any hour, with the arrival estimate confirmed before dispatch
  • A professional booster with surge protection instead of cables run from another car
  • Connection at the points your car maker specifies, including dedicated jump posts under the bonnet

Car Battery Testing

When it fits: Slow cranking, a warning light, or a battery that keeps going flat.

  • Resting voltage reading: about 12.6 to 12.8 V is healthy, and below 12.4 V the battery needs a recharge
  • Conductance or load test: the battery should hold 9.6 V or more under load
  • Charging voltage with the engine running, normally about 13.8 to 14.4 V

Nissan battery questions

All questions and answers
What battery fits a Nissan Patrol?

It depends on the generation. Patrol Safari and V6 models commonly use an 80D26L, while many 5.6 V8 cars carry a longer 95D31L with more capacity. Send the year and trim, or a photo of the label on the current battery, and we bring the matching case.

My Nissan shows 13 V with the engine running. Is the alternator failing?

Not necessarily. Newer Nissans lower the charging voltage on purpose when the battery is full and the load is light. Switch on the headlights and AC and the reading should climb above 13.8 V. If it stays low under load, or the battery light is on, the charging system needs a closer look.

Do you replace batteries for Nissan rental and company cars?

Yes. We attend fleet and rental Nissans at offices, warehouses and roadside locations across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The driver sends the location with the model and year, we confirm the battery and an arrival estimate, and payment can be made by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara.

Why does my Patrol battery die after a week at the airport?

A parked Patrol still feeds its alarm, keyless entry and control units. A healthy battery copes for a few weeks, but one already weakened by heat may not last one. We can jump-start it in the car park and test it, and replace it there if it no longer holds charge.
