How it works, step by step

  1. Send photos and report

WhatsApp photos of every damaged area from a few angles, with the car model and colour. For accident damage, include the police report, which workshops in the UAE need before starting.

  2. Estimate and approval

The workshop prepares an estimate listing panels to repair, panels to replace and paint areas. On insurance jobs this goes to the insurer, and work waits for their approval.

  3. Repair and paint

Panels are straightened or replaced, filler and primer are sanded flat, and colour is applied and blended into the neighbouring panels so the repair does not stand out in sunlight.

  4. Inspection and return

After the paint has cured, trim is refitted and the car is washed and checked in daylight. It is delivered to you, and you look it over before accepting it.

What Gulf conditions change

  • Sunlight here changes paint. After a few Dubai summers, the colour on the car has usually faded slightly from the factory formula. Reds fade the most and pearl whites are the hardest to match. A sound repair is matched to the car as it looks today and blended across adjacent panels, because paint mixed straight from the code can look newer than the rest.

Signs you need body and paint

  • A panel is dented or creased and the paint has cracked down to metal.

  • The bumper is split, pushed in or hanging loose from its clips.

  • Doors, bonnet or boot no longer line up or close as they did.

  • Your insurer has approved a claim and you need a workshop to carry it out.

What body and paint covers

  • Damage assessment from photos and in person

  • Panel beating and dent removal

  • Plastic bumper repair or replacement

  • Colour matching to the paint code

  • Primer, base coat and clear coat

  • Panel gap and finish check at handover

Body and Paint: questions

All questions and answers
Do I need a police report for body repairs?

For accident damage, yes. Workshops in the UAE ask for the police report before repairing accident damage, even when no other car was involved, and insurers need it to open a claim. In Dubai, a minor accident can be reported through the Dubai Police app. Send us the details and we tell you which papers the job needs.

Can you handle an insurance claim repair?

It depends on your policy. Some policies specify agency repair, others name approved garages, and some let you choose. Send the claim number, the police report and the policy type, and we tell you before collection whether the partner workshop can do the job under the claim or only as a private repair.

Will the new paint match the rest of the car?

The aim is a repair you cannot pick out in daylight. The painter starts from the paint code, adjusts the mix against the car itself, and blends colour into the adjoining panels. Metallic and pearl finishes are harder than solid colours. You inspect the car outdoors at handover before accepting it.

How long does body and paint work take?

It depends on the damage and on parts. A single bumper or panel is far quicker than structural work or several panels, and paint needs time to cure between stages. Waiting for insurer approval or an ordered part adds days outside the workshop schedule. You get a time estimate together with the quote.
