Plug-in Hi4-T versions differ
Tank Hi4-T plug-in hybrids carry a high-voltage pack alongside the 12V battery. The 12V unit on those versions may not match the petrol model, so we confirm the exact variant before sending a technician.
Accessories and the standard battery

Which battery does a Tank 500 take?
A Tank 500 typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range DIN 70 – DIN 100 (L3–L5). Most 500 cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a 500 battery where it is parked?

Does the 500 need battery registration?
