Is there Rivian battery service in Dubai?
There is no official Rivian workshop in the UAE. We provide 12 V battery testing, support to wake the vehicle and replacement where the build allows it. For high-voltage or software faults you need a specialist importer.
My R1S shows a 12 V battery warning. How urgent is it?
Treat it as urgent. Once the 12 V battery drops too far the vehicle may refuse to drive or unlock. Keep it plugged in if you can and arrange a test. We come to you at any hour.
Can a Rivian be jump-started like a normal car?
The 12 V system can be supported from an external source using the access points Rivian describes in its manual. It does not charge the drive pack. We follow that procedure and then test the 12 V battery properly.
