Which battery does a MG Ruixing take?
A MG Ruixing typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range DIN 60 – DIN 80 (L2–L4). Most Ruixing cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a Ruixing battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the Ruixing need battery registration?
No. The Ruixing does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a Ruixing battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Will a replacement battery affect my MG warranty?
Fitting a battery of the correct size and technology is normal maintenance, but check your warranty booklet for the exact terms on your car. We fit EFB or AGM where the car came with it and list the battery details on the invoice. The new battery carries its own warranty of up to 24 months.
