DIN case on petrol models
Petrol Haval SUVs generally use a DIN-type battery case, and versions with stop-start need EFB or AGM. We check year and engine before dispatch because the H9 and Dargo can differ from the Jolion.
Petrol versus hybrid 12V
Petrol H6 and Jolion start the engine from the 12V battery in the normal way. On HEV versions the high-voltage pack starts the engine and the 12V battery only powers electronics, so symptoms and battery type differ.
