For a DR we go by three things on the old battery: the size code, the capacity in Ah and which side the positive terminal is on. A clear photo of the label is enough.

DR Zero battery questions
Which battery does a DR Zero take?
A DR Zero typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range DIN 45 – DIN 60 (L1–L2). Most Zero cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a Zero battery where it is parked?
Yes. We come to homes, offices, basement and mall parking and the roadside across our Dubai coverage. Send the building name, parking level and any security rules so the technician can reach the car.
Does the Zero need battery registration?
No. The Zero does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
How long does a Zero battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Do you stock batteries for DR?
