Durango and Journey locations
The Durango from 2011 onward keeps its battery under the front passenger seat. On the Journey it sits behind the front bumper on the left and is reached through the wheel arch, which takes longer than a bonnet swap.

A Dodge Dart typically takes a maintenance-free flooded or EFB or AGM battery, in the range Group 48 / 94R (H6–H7). Most Dart cars take a maintenance-free battery. Versions with auto start-stop need EFB or AGM instead. If your engine switches off at traffic lights, tell us and we bring the right type.
Can you replace a Dart battery where it is parked?

Does the Dart need battery registration?
No. The Dart does not need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool. Some settings such as the clock or one-touch windows may need resetting, which the technician does before leaving.
