Le Sabre, Park Avenue and Lucerne models from the 2000s carry the battery beneath the rear seat. Under-bonnet posts are provided for jump-starting, and the new battery needs its vent tube refitted.
Recent Enclave, Envision and Encore GX models use engine stop-start and leave the factory with an AGM battery. We replace like for like and check that the sensor on the negative terminal is clipped back on.
