On Continental models up to 2017 the left-hand battery in the boot feeds the car's electrical systems and the right-hand one is reserved for starting. The split means lights and locks can die while the starter battery is still healthy, or the reverse.

Can you replace a Bentayga battery where it is parked?

Does the Bentayga need battery registration?

How long does a Bentayga battery last in the UAE?
About two years is typical here, against three to five in cooler climates. Heat ages the battery whether the car is driven or not, and short trips with the AC on full never quite recharge it. A test before summer shows how much life is left.
Which battery has failed on my Continental GT?
If the car unlocks and the dash lights up but the engine will not crank, suspect the starter battery on the right. If the car is completely dark, the systems battery on the left is the likely one. We load-test both and replace only what has failed.
