Many V6 Acura models, including older MDX and TL, take a Group 24F. Smaller four-cylinder cars such as the ILX commonly use the compact 51R. We verify by year because newer models changed size.
Later MDX, RDX and TLX versions with idle stop are built with an AGM battery. Fitting a flooded one causes early failure and can disable idle stop, so we check the original before choosing a unit.
